Industry meets Research

Ultrasonic TECH DAYS from Herrmann foster knowledge transfer
More than 200 experts from industry and science gathered on July 2 and 3 for Herrmann Ultraschall's Ultrasonic TECH DAYS. True to the event’s motto, “Innovative for tomorrow,” the main focus was on exchanging ideas about technology trends, new products, and solutions for current challenges.
Along with the latest developments in ultrasonic welding, the program also included exciting insights from other fields: Numerous guest speakers from institutions like RWTH Aachen University and the University of Applied Sciences Kempten presented practical concepts for making processes in the battery and packaging industries more sustainable and efficient.
“On both days, it was easy to see how valuable bonding across industry and national boundaries is. We also received important input for the further development of our processes and products from the feedback provided by our guests,” says CEO Thomas Herrmann. “With 200 participants from all over the world, we had significantly more guests than last year. Perhaps this high level of interest is a sign of slight economic growth.”
The Ultrasonic TECH DAYS are held annually at the Ultrasonic Campus in Karlsbad, Germany. They are aimed at a specialist audience from key industries such as automotive, hygiene, medical technology, and packaging. Participants create their own personalized program from workshops, lectures, and live demonstrations and gain exclusive insights into the work of the ultrasonic laboratories of the world's largest manufacturer of this technology.
