More power for strong cable connections
New ULTRASAFE W from Herrmann welds with 12,000 W
Faster wire-terminal connections with large cross-sections: with the Ultrasonic Power Stack 12.000, Herrmann Ultraschall has developed an expansion for the ULTRASAFE W that increases the machine's power while simultaneously reducing cycle times. This increases the manufacturing’s efficiency and makes the user-friendly welding machine even more versatile.
With the Ultrasonic Power Stack 12,000, companies have the solution for handling larger cable cross-sections and are equipped for future demands in high-performance busbars and cable harnesses. The expansion for the ULTRASAFE W increases the maximum welding force of the machine to 10,000 newton, meaning that even high-voltage cables with cross-sections of up to 150 mm² can be welded reliably.
The integrated ultrasonic converter enables fast production cycles of just a few seconds. Thanks to its new architecture, it ensures stable welding processes even at high capacity in continuous operation, without the need for cooling times.
The Ultrasonic Power Stack 12,000 is designed for modular integration with ULTRASFAE W welding machines, expanding their capabilities for a wider range of applications. Simply swapping out the tools allows for welding various cable and sheet thicknesses on the same machine. These tool exchanges, facilitated by format sets, are quick, and the innovative clamping system ensures automatic and precise alignment after each changeover.
In addition to the simple tool change, the modern design of the ultrasonic welding machine ensures user-friendly operation. The mobile safety lift door with large viewing window can be raised completely, opening up a generous operating range. This facilitates access to the machine and speeds up loading, intervention or cleaning, for example. An infinitely height-adjustable work table also supports ergonomic working with the machine.
